Open Garden is a free app that helps you find a secure, private, and affordable way to share your Wi-Fi connection with your neighbors. It works like this:
If you have a Wi-Fi connection, you’ll need to install the Open Garden app. You can choose to share your Wi-Fi connection with one or more neighbors. You’ll be able to view the available Wi-Fi connections in your area, see who has used your Wi-Fi, and view the amount of data that each neighbor is using.
You can also set a limit on how much data each neighbor is allowed to use, so you can keep an eye on who’s overusing your data. And if you’re worried about security, you can set a password to restrict access to your network.
